Notice: I’ve been playing this game for years, I’ve gotten nearly double the “devs highscore,” and while it’s a very entertaining game fun to play in those short moments when I’m on a bus or waiting in line, I’m convinced it isn’t beatable by skill alone. There is a not insignificant factor of luck, and as you get closer to the end game it’s programmed to make your luck worse by giving you numbers that are further and further apart from one another and reducing the chance of + and - it seems making it unbeatable. In the last game I lost I had 1 piece left on the board then got enough numbered pieces (without any + or -) in a row to lose the game, that’s what really set me on the path of changing my review to this one. Being luck based it’s theoretically possible to win by getting lucky but I don’t like that. For a game like this I usually rate 1/5, 3/5 is the highest rating I’ll give for an unbeatable or win by luck game
